Newmarket and District Rifle Club

Contact Person: Fred Haskett (secretary)

Venue: Elizabeth Way Range in Cambridge
Type of shooting: .22 prone rifle.
We meet on Monday evenings from 7:30.

We enter both team and individual competitions in the Cambs and Suffolk Leagues and run our own open postal competition, to raise funds for the Club. This has been a great success with entries from all over the Country.

The Club has unfortunately had to move from using the TAVR range at the Drill Hall in Newmarket after some 60 years, to the range at Elizabeth Way in Cambridge.

The Club has both male, female and junior members. All are welcome. We are a small club but do have Qualified Club Instructors and Coaches, so it is up to the individual as to how far they would like to go and level achieved. We have Club shooters who are quite happy to come along and shoot in a few competitions, to those who shoot at County and International levels.
